Where are you from?
Though I was born in California, we moved to Phoenix when I was 3 years old, so though I’m not from Phoenix… Phoenix is all I truly know. I went to Mercury Mine Elementary, Shea Middle School and then Shadow Mountain High School. For college I went to THE University of Arizona and loved my time there and became part of a great campus ministry called The Navigators. After graduation, I moved to Los Angeles to work in a school there and then moved back to Phoenix and eventually got my Masters at Arizona State University. I have spent time working in foster care, public schools, charter schools, churches and non-profit organizations. I have loved all the amazing people I have met along the way and the different ways God has grown me in each setting.

Tell us about your family.
Currently it is me and my dog, Mozart (Mozy)! We love to hang out with friends, go on hikes, have play dates, go to dogparks or sit on patios. Actually… I think I like the patios and he just tolerates them.

My parents were both schoolteachers in the Valley and are now enjoying retired life and my younger sister is usually having a fun adventure somewhere around the world or in nature!

What do you like to do for fun?
Quality time with those I love is one of my favorite pastimes. I also love a good worship night, so making music with friends or leading worship at different events is something you will find me doing often. I enjoy going out to eat, especially if they have good gluten free options as well as finding quality iced tea! I like to hike, but like amateur hiking… not the status some of the other staff is on haha, and I love exploring our beautiful state! You will often find me out on the dance floor, hosting a baby/bridal shower, finding memes about the enneagram, walking with Mozy or reading a book. Variety is the spice of life! HA

What are you excited about in this new role?
I am excited, and humbled, to be part of disciple-making the future of our world, what an honor! I am thrilled to be able to lead their hearts toward Jesus and also be ministered to by their child-like faith. I also am so grateful to be joining an amazing PBC Kids team who faithfully serve and love the children at PBC. I am also excited to be part of the family at Phoenix Bible Church and have already felt SO welcomed. It takes a village, and I am grateful to be part of this amazing one!

I’d love to meet you over coffee (though, I’ll drink tea hah). Send me an email and let’s get together!
